Pioneer, a member of DuPont group of companies, was established in the USA in 1936. A leading producer of hybrid seeds, the company has established its first factory in Adana, Turkey in 1986 and production continues today in 11 cities. The company, which employs 5.500 agricultural producers in a total area of 11,000 hectares, produces 15,000 tons of seeds annually. With the merger of DuPont and DOW companies in 2018, it continues its activities under the name of CORTEVA and is the world's largest pesticide and seed producer.

The company’s Hybrid Seed Facility in Manisa is planned to be its second largest production facility in the world and is being planned to be built on 130,000 m2 and to increase current production in Turkey to 50,000 tons, employing 20,000 agricultural producers. The real estate development consulting for this facility has been provided by Sarıcı Consulting and technical and bureaucratic processes regarding the development process were carried out with the Agriculture and Forestry Ministry, Manisa Governorate, Manisa Metropolitan Municipality, Şehzadeler Municipality, Presidential Investment Office and Provincial Directorate of Agriculture.
